In addition to the performances at Esplanade Outdoor Theatre, dance showcases were held at Resorts World Sentosa Forum Stage (on 19 May), Toa Payoh Central Amphitheatre (on 20 May), and Kampung Admiralty Community Plaza (on 26 May).
This year, EVG Chinese Dance was invited by the organisation and we performed at Kampung Admiralty Community Plaza. The dancers experienced the beauty, vibrancy and diversity of Chinese Dance. Art Appreciation Programme 2018 - Singapore Dance Theatre’s 30th Anniversary Gala Performance
To provide EVG Chinese Dancers with wider exposure to different dance genres as well as to cultivate in them the aesthetic ability to appreciate and love dance as an art form, we embarked on a journey to watch the timeless and inspiring dance performance by Singapore Dance Theatre titled “Singapore Dance Theatre’s 30th Anniversasy Gala Performance”, where President Halimah Yacob was the Guest-of-Honour. It proved to be a rewarding and enriching experience for the EVG Chinese Dancers. This performance was truly eye-opening and enriching for our dancers.
